The number of Covid patients in Viet Nam surge every day. If you’re feeling stressed, this is a very normal response. However, it’s important to calm yourself down and to take time for self-care. In this article, VCR will give you instructions on how to protect yourself during Covid-19 pandemic.

1. On going to market

  • Always wear a facemask or face cover when you go out of home
  • Make a distance of a minimum of 2 meters from any person
  • Don't touch your face with your hand when you are out of home
  • Keep hand sanitizer in with you every time when you go outside
  • Go to the market only when it is urgent. Try to go once or twice a week.
  • Try to pay digitally using a mobile app

2. On using public lift

  • It is better to use the staircase instead of a public lift in the current situation. Don’t touch the staircase with your hands.
  • If it is required to use lift then keep some paper pieces in your pocket and touch the push button with your finger covered with paper.
  • Remove and throw the paper in the waste bin immediately when you come out of the lift without touching it from outside.
  • Maintain a minimum of 2 meters distance from others in the lift, it is better to use it individually

3. At home

  • Don’t touch the door, call house members to open the door when you enter.
  • Go to the washroom and wash your hands and face with soap for at least 20 seconds.
  • Put off your clothes and dip those in detergent solution and bath with soap

4. Disinfecting the house

  • Mop the floor daily in the morning with a 2% detergent solution/ 1% sodium hypochlorite solution.
  • Disinfect the main door handle and doorbell with 70% alcohol-based liquid sanitizer.

5. Improving your health

  • It is required for everyone to improve their immunity these days.
  • Daily practice Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation for at least 30 minutes.
  • Drink herbal tea made from honey, lemongrass, and lemon juice once a day.
