ESD Heel Grounder Strap

The antistatic heel grounder strap is designed for use in ESD work areas when manipulating electrical products and components in factories and clean rooms. The bracelet releases the charge to the ground through the grounding belt, ensuring product quality and avoiding occupational safety risks.

It is recommended to use straps on both legs.

Antistatic heel grounder strap application

Unlike ESD wristbands that are best suited for working while sitting, antistatic shoelaces are most widely used when standing is required. Most jobs that require a lot of movement have an essential requirement that the grounding straps in the shoes be flexible. A conductive ribbon is placed inside the wearer's shoe or sock, allowing electrical contact to be made to the skin through sweat. The ribbon is connected to a resistor, which minimizes the current flow and the electrical connection risk. The other end of the resistor is linked to a conductive base that contacts an ESD floor mat or a grounded floor system.
