Glove tester for Isolator cabinets - Glove tester
- Glove tester for isolation cabinets and biosafety cabinets.
- The tester is used to test the leak tightness of gloves in the oval flange of the isolator isolator.
- The principle of leak testing consists of checking the tightness of gloves: pressurizing them to a set of values, reading and evaluating the pressure difference.
Salient features of the glove testing machine
- The mechanical glove tester consists of a base with an inflatable washer along its circumference, an outlet for compressed air into the sleeve and an input for a digital pressure sensor. There is also a flange with two buttons to pressurize and deflate the washers and gloves.
- Tightness is checked using a pressure gauge indicating sufficient pressure in the sealing ring.
- The pressure in the sleeve and any leaks are measured with a digital pressure sensor in the range of 0-4000 Pa.
- On the surface of the tester there is an ergonomic, antibacterial handle and a quick coupler for supplying compressed air by tube or directly from the isolator outlet or external source.
