Application
This machine is one kind of double-side rotary tablet press machine, which can press granular materials into round shape tablet, irregular tablet or double-side engraved tablet.
This machine is mainly used in pharmaceutical, chemistry, foodstuff, electronic industries.
Main introduction and structure
- The content of fine powder (more than 100 mesh) in the dried granular raw materials used in this machine is not more than 10%. This machine is not suitable for Semi solid, wet particles, low melting point, easy to wet raw materials and non particle powder pressing.
- This machine can not only press round shape tablet, but also press Irregular shaped tablet and double-sided lettering piece of geometric shape.
- The parts and components of this machine are designed and manufactured according to the world's popular standardization, serialization and generalization standards.
- This machine is mainly composed of mechanical and electrical control systems of major components of the main engine (mechanical and electrical control systems of major components are described in detail below).
- The machine is equipped with excellent mechanical and electrical components. The mechanical components adopt high-strength and high rigidity frame mechanism. The main casting adopts Japanese casting process, Turret with special processing process, upper and lower pre pressing wheels and main pressing wheel structure. The lubrication system adopts American Bijur Delimon technology. The main motors, inverters, PLC, touch screens and so on are all international famous brands. (see Below)
- The work area adopts a totally closed transparent window structure, which can clearly observe the working state. The output slot is placed on the corner of the column, and the door and window easy to open and ensure the tightness, effectively prevent dust pollution.

- The working room is completely separated from the transmission mechanism to effectively prevent cross contamination. The parts in contact with the drug are made of stainless steel or specially treated on the surface. There is no dead corner in the tablet pressing room. It is easy to load and unload, easy to clean and maintain, and in line with GMP standards of drug production and quality management specifications.
- The machine has the functions of frequency control, filling and thickness adjustment without hand-wheel, filling depth and thickness display, single pressure value and average pressure display, overload protection and emergency stop, etc.
Main Features
- Perfect pressure system, double pressure forming of main pressure and pre pressure, narrow spacing, large pressure wheel, special structure design, make it have the ability of bearing heavy load without deformation, long compression time of tablets, stable operation. It ensures the tablet weight accuracy and tablet hardness during tablet pressing.
- The rotating speed of the turret is high, and the linear speed of the center point of the die hole in the turret is 103m / min; the double-sided tablet pressing, with the maximum output of 450000 tablets per hour, can meet the requirements of large-scale production in pharmaceutical plants.
- The upper pressure wheel is connected with the pressure sensor by the lever principle, which has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy. The average working pressure and single value pressure of the tablet can be displayed accurately through the amplifier and the display screen; at the same time, the maximum working pressure can be set when the actual work. When the pressure exceeds the set value, the machine will automatically stop in an emergency and play a protective role. (see figure below)
4. The thin oil lubrication part of the equipment adopts automatic lubrication system such as electric lubrication pump and metering parts to supply oil to the upper and lower guide rails, main pressure wheels, upper and lower punch bars, etc., and adjust the lubrication frequency and time on the touch screen in time according to the actual work needs. In order to obtain the best lubrication effect, reduce the noise and prolong the life of the parts. (see figure below)
5. The control part adopts programmable controller, and the operation panel adopts color touch screen, which is convenient and intuitive. Display as the user's operation interface can display the main technical parameters, and can set the rotating speed, maximum working pressure and lubrication frequency of the turret Control parameters such as rate and time.
6. It has various protection functions: the oil level of the lubricating pump is too low, the up and down flushing is not loaded, the pressure is overloaded, the front, rear, left and right doors are not closed, and the emergency stop button can quickly locate the fault point through the touch screen, effectively ensuring the normal operation of the equipment.
7. The forced feeding device is directly installed on the main body, with good stability, and the gap between the forced feeding device and the turret is not easy to change; the double impeller feeding plate has strong adaptability to materials, and the mixing filling device can ensure the full filling of powder in any case, and prevent the separation of coarse and fine particles.
There is a sensor in the hopper. When the material level is low, the machine will give an alarm automatically (see figure below)
- The electric control device is integrated with the main machine, covering a small area, the whole machine is beautiful and atmospheric, easy to operate and use, the turret has high speed and large production capacity, the sales price is only about half of that of the same high-speed tablet press, with high cost performance (see figure below)
- Material of main key parts: Copper track is cast with special formula of military enterprise, which improves wear resistance. The upper and lower press wheel frame, turret, lower main bearing seat, upper track plate, middle plate, etc. are cast by Japanese technology. Through metallographic analysis, the internal molecular structure of the material is uniform, compact, free of bubbles, sand holes and cracks, the internal pressure is reliable, and the surface of the casting body is flat and smooth. The spindle is made of special grade profile, with small deformation and good rigidity.
- Machining process of mechanical parts: main parts such as copper track, upper and lower pressure wheel frame, turret, lower main bearing seat, upper track plate and middle plate are processed by machining center, which ensures high precision of parts and improves operation stability of the whole machine.
- The worm gear box adopts high-precision circular arc surface worm gear pair, which is characterized by small clearance, stable operation, low noise, high bearing capacity, small volume and high efficiency(see figure below)
- It adopts high-strength frame structure, the main pressure is 100 KN, and the pre pressure is 40 KN. It is especially suitable for the pressing and forming of traditional Chinese medicine tablets and large varieties of tablets.
- A special lubricating oil chamber is added inside the turntable. Under the action of centrifugal force, the lubricating oil lubricates the lower punch rod at high speed to reduce the wear and stick punch of the lower punch rod. (see figure below)

- Turret and main drive structure
Turret is the main executive part of the machine. It consists of main motor, synchronous pulley, synchronous belt, worm gear reducer, main bearing seat, main shaft, turret and other main parts. The rotary table is evenly distributed with stamping dies on the circumference, and the turret and the main shaft are connected by screws and pins to transmit torque. The main shaft is supported on the tapered roller bearing in the main bearing seat, driven by the worm gear pair, connected by the flat key, and rotates the main shaft to make the turret work.

The rail guide consists of a cylindrical cam and a plane cam, which are the tracks of the up and down punch bars. The upper rail guide is composed of upper flush up parallel rail, upper flush lubrication rail, upper flush down parallel rail, upper flush down parallel rail, upper flush up rail, etc. They are respectively fastened on the upper rail guide plate.
The lower rail guide consists of lower impact down rail, lower impact loading and unloading rail, filling rail, pre pressure transition rail, main pressure transition rail, lower impact top derailment and lower impact top derailment. They are respectively installed on the main bearing seat
- Filling adjustment device
Filling adjustment is used to adjust the weight of the tablet. It consists of a speed regulating motor, a gearbox, a displacement ruler, a regulating mechanism, a filling rail, etc. The speed regulating motor rotates forward and backward to make the regulating mechanism move up and down, so that the filling rail installed on the screw shaft can rise or fall, and the filling amount can be changed. The filling volume is directly displayed on the touch screen through the displacement ruler.
- Pre- press wheel and main press wheel structure
The device can adjust tablet forming and tablet forming thickness. It is composed of upper preloading wheel assembly, lower preloading wheel assembly, upper main pressure wheel assembly and lower main pressure wheel assembly. The upper main pressing wheel is installed on the upper pressing wheel frame, the adjusting rocker arm is loosened and rotated to adjust the depth of punching into the mold; the lower main pressing wheel is installed on the lower main pressing wheel frame, and the thickness of tablet is adjusted by the thickness adjusting device of the main pressing plate.
- Feeding Device
The device is composed of a feeding hopper, a flow regulating valve, a feeding transmission device, a forced feeder, a feeder bracket, a powder returning device of a blocking piece and a powder scraping and pressing device. The forced feeder is driven by the feeding drive. The gap between the forced feeder and the working face of the turntable is adjusted by the adjusting strut.
- Body parts
The structure of the body is solid and reasonable, with good rigidity and strong impact resistance. It is mainly composed of top frame, outer frame column, pressing wheel frame, column sleeve, middle plate, wall plate and bottom plate.
- Thin oil lubricated parts
Thin oil lubrication is adopted for the lubrication of the upper and lower punch bar, rail and pressure wheel surfaces of the machine. The oil is supplied centrally by the electric lubrication pump, which can be set and controlled in PLC.
