What is pass box?
The VCR600SE pass box is mainly used to transfer small items within the cleanroom at different levels or between clean and non-clean areas. Its purpose is to prevent dirty air and various types of particles from entering and adhering to items entering the cleanroom.
The Pass Box is made of stainless steel (inox) or electrostatically painted, with a smooth surface to minimize dust adherence. The Pass Box doors are equipped with interlocking locks to prevent opening multiple doors simultaneously, reducing the risk of cross-contamination. They are also equipped with ultraviolet lights for disinfecting objects before they are introduced into the cleanroom.
