Pass box installation procedure

1. What is pass box?
Pass box is one kind of facilities, which is located on partition walls of clean room. Its function shall be a buffer area for transferring goods between inside and outside of the cleanroom. It can prevent any disturbance of airflow and air pressure in clean room, which can be caused by the door opening for goods transferring. Moreover, it can reduce the time from operators moving in and out, to prevent any dust coming from the out regions.
Pass box is equipped with UV lamp which is used for bacteria control. Pass box is provided with two interlocked doors, when one door is open the other door cannot be opened, in this way it prevents direct contact between the connected areas.
2. Pass box installation procedure
In this part, VCR will provide you the steps to install the passbox in cleanroom
Step 1: Calculate the placement of pass box across your panel wall to determine the most aesthetically pleasing configuration of pass box
Step 2: Drill a hole in that wall. The hole is generally about 10 mm larger than the outer diameter of the pass box
Step 3: Put the pass box into the wall and generally install it in the middle of the wall to keep balance and fixation
Step 4: Use decorative strips to decorate between pass box and the wall, then seal it with glue
3. The process of using the pass box
When the pass box is not working, the doors on both sides are closed. On delivering items, the deliverer opens the door to bring them in, while another door is closed. After the items are sent in, the door is closed immediately, the receiver opens the other door to take out the item then closes the door.
Do not open both doors at the same time.
