The Four-Door Interlocking (VCR) is a type of interlocking lock used to control four doors simultaneously, functioning similarly to other locks in which when one door opens, the other doors must close. However, the current market demand for this type of lock is very low.

Application of Four-Door Interlocking (VCR)

• Installed in the control panel rooms of clean rooms, cleanrooms, airlocks, intermediate rooms, dressing rooms using signaling systems in the fields of healthcare, laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronic equipment, semiconductors, and office spaces.

Operation of Four-Door Interlocking (VCR)

• When one door opens, the other two doors will automatically close, and the three doors cannot be opened simultaneously.
• If a door remains open for too long, a warning bell will ring to remind employees to close the door.
• In the event of a power outage and for electronic interlocking locks, all three doors can be opened, ensuring user safety.
• In emergencies, an emergency button can be pressed to force open the door.

• The interlocking lock control device will be installed on the ceiling panel, connected to a pre-existing socket (the shorter the distance between the control device and the socket, the better, to match the power cable and save wiring costs).
• The indicator light will be attached to the wall panel, in an easily observable area when entering/exiting, typically placed next to the panel door.
• The locking latch will be installed inside the panel wall (requiring drilling and concealed wiring) and can be placed on the side or top of the door frame.
• The latch positioning plate will be attached to the door leaf, corresponding to the locking latch installation area.

In addition, there are some important errors to note when installing the interconnected lock, such as:

1. Securely connect the signal wires to the lock bolt and indicator light ---> Error alert: The alarm bell will ring loudly and continuously.

2. Install the lock bolt and position it in the same direction (Wi-Fi symbol) on both accessories ---> Error alert: The lock won't function.

3. Reverse the signal wires between the light and the lock bolt ---> Error alert: Installation not possible. The signal wires of the lock bolt are usually slightly thicker than the wires of the light, please be cautious during installation.

4. Use a box and wire conduit to protect the signal wires on the ceiling, preventing insects from damaging the wires. Signal wires are different from power wires, and if they are cut or damaged, it will be difficult to reconnect them.
