What is the VCR-X2S Interlock Lock?

The VCR-X2S Interlock is an auxiliary device designed to ensure that doors in a room cannot be opened simultaneously, thereby maintaining the isolation between clean and non-clean areas.

The VCR-X2S Interlock has the capability to control the opening and closing of two panel doors simultaneously.

When door 1 opens, door 2 is forcibly closed, and door 2 can only be opened after door 1 has closed.

• The interlock control box will be installed on the ceiling panel and connected to an available power socket (the shorter the distance between the control box and the socket, the better, to save wiring costs).
• The indicator light will be attached to the wall panel, in an area easily observable when entering and exiting, typically placed next to the panel door.
• The door latch will be installed underground inside the wall panel (requires drilling and underground wiring) and can be installed on the side or above the door frame.
• The latch positioning plate will be mounted on the door leaf, corresponding to the location of the door latch installation.

In addition, there are some errors to watch out for during interlock lock installation, such as:

1. Securely attach the signal connecting wires to the door latch and indicator light.

Error Alert: The alarm will sound loudly and continuously.

2. Align the door latch and latch positioning plate in the same direction (marked as Wifi) on both accessories.

Error Alert: The latch won't work.

3. Do not reverse the signal wires between the indicator light and door latch.

Error Alert: It won't install. The signal wire of the door latch is typically slightly larger than the wire for the indicator light, so please pay attention when installing.

4. Use wire boxes and tubing to protect signal wires on the ceiling to prevent insects from biting or damaging the wires. Signal wires are different from power cables, and if they are cut or damaged, they are challenging to reconnect.
