What is the VCR-X2M Dual Interlock System?

The VCR-X2M Dual Interlock System is an auxiliary device designed to ensure that doors in a cleanroom cannot be opened simultaneously, thereby maintaining isolation between clean and non-clean areas.

The VCR-X2M Interlock System can control the opening and closing of two panel doors simultaneously. When door 1 opens, door 2 is forcibly locked, and door 2 can only be opened after door 1 has been closed.

Operation of the VCR-X2M Interlock System

• When one door opens, the other door will automatically close; both doors cannot be opened simultaneously.
• If one door remains open for an extended period, a warning bell will sound to remind personnel to close the door.
• In case of power loss, both doors can be opened to ensure user safety.
• In case of an emergency, an emergency button can be pressed to forcibly open the door.

In addition, there are some errors to be aware of when installing electromagnetic locks, such as:

1. Securely attach the signal cables to the lock bolt and indicator light.

-->Error Message: The alarm bell will ring loudly and continuously.

2. Install the lock bolt and align it in the same direction (Wi-Fi symbol) on both accessories.

-->Error Message: The lock won't function.

3. Reverse the signal cables between the indicator light and the lock bolt.

-->Error Message: Unable to install. The signal cable of the lock bolt is usually slightly thicker than the light cable; please take note during installation.

4. Use a cable conduit and tubing to protect the signal cables on the ceiling, preventing insects from biting or damaging the cables. Signal cables are different from power cables, and repairing them if they are cut or damaged can be difficult.
