An interlock lock is an auxiliary device that ensures the doors of a room cannot be opened simultaneously, thereby ensuring isolation between clean and non-clean areas.

The VCR-X3M interlock lock can control the opening and closing of three doors simultaneously.

Specifically, if one door is opened, the other two doors will be forcibly closed, and if you want to open one door, the other two doors must be closed first.

If an attempt is made to open the second door intentionally, a warning bell will sound to notify.

In emergency situations such as power loss or fire, all three doors will be opened simultaneously to allow personnel inside to escape.

Description of the VCR-X3M Interlock Operation

• When one door is opened, the other two doors will automatically close. The three doors cannot be opened simultaneously.
• If one door remains open for too long, a warning bell will sound to remind the personnel to close the door.
• In case of a power outage and for electronic interlock locks, all three doors can be opened, ensuring the safety of users.
• In emergency situations, an emergency button can be pressed to forcibly open the door.

Installation Diagram for the Interlock

• The interlock control box will be installed on the ceiling panel, connected to an existing socket (the shorter the distance between the control box and the socket, the better, to match the power cable that follows the lock and save wiring costs).
• The indicator light will be mounted on the panel wall, in an easily observable area for entry/exit, typically installed next to the panel door.
• The magnetic latch will be installed within the panel wall (requires drilling and concealed wiring), and can be installed on the side or above the door frame.
• The latch positioning plate will be mounted on the door leaf, corresponding to the latch installation area.

Additionally, there are some key installation considerations for the interlock lock:

1. Securely install the signal connection cables to the latch and indicator light.

--> Error: The alarm bell will ring loudly and continuously.

2. Install the latch and latch positioning plate in the same direction (Wi-Fi symbol) on both accessories.

--> Error: The latch will not work.

3. Reverse the signal cables between the indicator light and the latch.

--> Error: Unable to install. The signal cable for the latch is typically slightly thicker than the cable for the light, so please be mindful during installation.

4. Use cable conduits and wire protection to protect the signal cables on the ceiling, preventing insects from damaging the wires. Signal cables are different from power cables, and if they are cut or damaged, they can be difficult to reconnect.
