PTFE pleated paper filter cartridge
PTFE filter cartridge has filter pleats formed by folding polytetrafluoroethylene membranes, inner and outer protective layer and ends are made of polypropylene
PTFE filter cartridge is a pleated filter cartridge formed by folding PTFE membranes (polytetrafluoroethylene). The inner and outer protective layers and both ends are made of polypropylene, and each part of the filter cartridge is sealed using advanced hot-melt technology, with no adhesives, ensuring effective sealing, no leakage, and no contamination.
All PTFE filter cartridges are manufactured using the most advanced equipment, and undergo strict testing procedures to ensure product quality and stability.
PTFE pleated paper filter cartridges are the preferred choice for efficient sterilization, with excellent resistance to organic and inorganic chemicals, and meet the appropriate biological safety and Pyrogen control indices according to biological safety standards, ensuring sterile and aseptic filtration for gases and corrosive liquids.
This filter cartridge consists of two types: hydrophobic DEPTFE and hydrophilic DIPTFE.
- The DEPTFE pleated paper filter cartridge is made of naturally hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes and polypropylene components using advanced hot-melt technology in a controlled Class-100 clean environment, with no adhesives or surface-active agents.
- The DIPTFE pleated paper filter cartridge is made of imported hydrophilic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filter membranes.

PTFE filter cartridge Features
- The PTFE filter cartridge is used for chemical filtration, capable of withstanding harsh environments, thermally stable, durable, and made from FDA-compliant materials.
- It contains no adhesives or surface-active agents.
- Its wide chemical compatibility makes it a versatile filter for laboratory use. The durability and properties of PTFE allow it to filter harsh liquids in experiments and gases to protect both individuals and expensive equipment.
- All components meet the biological test requirements of USP Plastic Class 6 products at 121°C.
- It has excellent chemical stability and retains dirt effectively.
- The superior PTFE membrane provides consistent and reliable results.
- Each element of the filter must pass integrity testing before leaving the factory.
- It is manufactured according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Class 100 cleanroom standards.
- It is easy to install, replace, and maintain.
There are two types of filter membranes: hydrophobic and hydrophilic.
DEPTFE membrane - Hydrophobic | DIPTFE membrane - Hydrophilic |
99.99995% of bacteria are retained in both air and liquid. 99.99995% of all types of phages, bacteria, and particles above 0.01μm are retained during air filtration. It can withstand repeated steam sterilization. It has a high airflow rate, high efficiency, and low weight. It is suitable for organic solvents. | Excellent water affinity, suitable for disinfection and filtering strong acid and alkali liquids. It has high air flow rate, low pressure difference, and long service life. Applicable for water and organic solvent filtration. |
PTFE filter cartridge Applications
Filter cartridges are widely used in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, and soft drink industries, as well as in the fermentation industry as air sterilizing filters. Specifically, they are used as follows:
